As their first bicentennial event, Incarnate Word College offers free tours of Brackenridge Villa for four days, April 3-6. The mansion, previously called Fernridge, was built for George Brackenridge and served as his residence until he sold it to the Sisters of the Incarnate Word for $120,000 in 1897. It was first opened to public tours in 1969.
