A real estate deed was filed this morning for the conveyance of the old Andrews homestead on Dallas for the Physicians and Surgeons Hospital for $11,000.

The world's largest aerial navigation school will go into action at Hondo, when cadets march to their first classes in academic buildings.

1962
Southwest Research Institute received two contracts today which were among $137,638 approved by the National Institute of Health.

1969
Midnight Cowboy begins showing in San Antonio at the Broadway Theater at 4940 Broadway.  It remains the only X-rated film to win the Best Picture Oscar.
