1933
San Antonio's beer lovers will appear in 94th District COurt next week in defense of persons who have persisted in selling 3.2 percent beer in defiance of the city's proclamation.

1943
The Memphis Belle flyers will tell the inside story of their 25 bombing missions at the war bond rally to be held in their honor at Municipal Auditorium.

1963
It was reported to the City Council that the City of Leon Valley is not suitable for total annexation by San Antonio, because the city presently could not adequately service the small town with utilities.
