April 10 in San Antonio history...

1910
Nine nurses walked out of the Physicians and Surgeons Hospital on strike.  Among the nurses' complaints is the frijol, hamburger and potatoes diet.

1920
The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce is definitely committed to securing a railroad from San Antonio to the Rio Grande Valley towns of Brownsville and Rio Grande City.

1970
George Lane, who holds a contract to operate a carnival concession at HemisFair Plaza, threatened legal action against a a Fiesta Week carnival approved by City Council.
