R. Brannan told the Business Men's Club that oranges could be grown profitably in Bexar County.

Street Commissioner Phil Wright announced the new signal lights at Goliad and Water, and Blanco and Woodlawn, would be the popular red-green type used downtown.

World War I flying ace, Jimmy Doolittle arrived in San Antonio on his way to a Kerrville deer hunt.
