1905
The Daughters of the Republic of Texas filed an injunction to restrain Miss Adina de Zavala from retaining possession of the Alamo.

1919

San Antonio has contributed more than $61,000 to the fund for the proposed new Catholic Theological Seminary, to be built at a cost of $100,000 beside the first mission on Concepcion Road, according to those conducting the drive.

1929
Bids will be asked next week on the excavation work for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company's new building to be erected on Martin at Auditorium Plaza.
