1901
Alexander Joske's handsome new residence on King William is now completed and occupied.

1921
Passage of an ordinance which would enable the city to prosecute in police court individuals having marijuana in their possession is sought by Assistant City Attorney Herbert Oliver.

1951
San Antonians by the thousands are expected to inspect the new maternity wing of the Baptist Memorial Hospital, Romana Plaza and Dallas. It is the largest maternity hospital in the South.
