1880
The first issue of the San Antonio Daily Times is published.

1925
The principal of St. Mary's School said the new school building at 117 E. French would be opened around January 1.

1926
Two wars, the Spanish-American and the World War are to be fought at Camp Stanley and Camp Bullis within the next few days by Hollywood stars and technicians. Spectators may watch if they stay out of battles.

1956
Inoculation with Salk polio vaccine of about 30,000 Lackland AFB military and civilian personnel began today following the incidence of five paralytic cases at the base.
