1905
The Annie Cotter Sullivan Memorial Library is dedicated.

1944
Kendall County Sheriff S. F. Edge shined the shoes of Joseph Rittiman at Boerne to spur war bond sales. Rittiman bought a $1,000 war bond in exchange for the sheriff's services.

1952
The San Antonio Transit Company's application for authorization to increase bus fares was approved Wednesday by the City Council. Councilmen agreed to the elimination of all zone and student tickets and to levying a 2-cent transfer charge.
