Ernest Rische announced he had purchased the old Cobweb Saloon and that he was changing its name to the Old Turner Hall Saloon.

St. Louis College graduates its first class - a graduating class of two.

Three of the six youths charged with burning the city's 80-foot Christmas tree on Alamo Plaza last New year were fined $25 and costs by Judge McCollum Burnett.
